Please Help...Friends having a computer problem

my friend says she is being booted off her computer after updating internet explorer...I told her to go to download.com and download Moz Firefox 2, but she says it wont let her stay on long enough to download it...what should she do?

She should disconect from the Internet and run her virus scan program first. Just to be sure theres not a problem.


If you go to
Start
Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs

you can uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 if you don't like it

she ran the virus scan...nothing came up...If she uninstalls explorer how does she get back online?

When you uninstall IE 7, it reverts back to IE 6.
